The AI-powered data analytics platform for SMEs surpasses 100,000 newsletter subscribers newsletter launches The ELECTE Digest; Fabio Lauria joins the European DIGITAL SME Alliance.

ELECTE (ELECTE S.R.L.), the AI-powered data analytics platform for small and medium-sized businesses, announced today a series of milestones achieved since the launch of its AI Agent in April 2026: revenue growth of more than 40% in fiscal year 2025 compared to 2024, a newsletter community newsletter has surpassed 100,000 subscribers, the induction of founder and CEO Fabio Lauria into the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, and the launch of The ELECTE Digest, a new weekly email curated for SMEs.

Revenue growth of more than 40% in fiscal year 2025

ELECTE reported a revenue increase of more than 40% in fiscal year 2025 compared to fiscal year 2024. This result reflects the platform’s evolution toward automation-driven analytics, as described in the April press release, with the AI Agent and an expanded catalog of integrations supporting adoption by a customer base of more than 500 companies.

Revenue that demonstrates adoption and a distribution channel we own: that’s how a platform for SMEs earns trust—Fabio Lauria

Newsletter community passes 100,000 subscribers

The ELECTE newsletter, published weekly in English and Italian, has surpassed 100,000 subscribers. The publication covers artificial intelligence, data analytics, and technology strategy for European business decision-makers, with an editorial approach based on independent analysis, verified data, and no sponsored content.

This growth coincides with the publication’s complete migration to a self-hosted infrastructure, which gives ELECTE direct control over mailing, deliverability, and subscriber data, in line with the company’s stance on European data governance.

The Launch of The ELECTE Digest

ELECTE is launching The ELECTE Digest, a curated weekly email that summarizes the key developments in artificial intelligence and technology for SMEs in a concise format. The Digest complements the newsletter ; ELECTE has also launched official channels on WhatsApp and Telegram, adding two direct distribution channels alongside email.

A daily editorial process

The Digest is part of a publishing initiative that now publishes daily. ELECTE’s editorial hub on electe.net publishes new analyses and practical guides for SMEs on AI adoption, data infrastructure, and technology strategy every day, in addition to newsletter . The company produces two podcasts— AI Frontiers and The ELECTE Review —available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Amazon Music.

The publication catalog also includes the white paper "AI for European SMEs: The 2026 Playbook," available on major e-book platforms, which expands on ELECTE's analysis of how European small and medium-sized enterprises can adopt artificial intelligence within their regulatory and economic constraints.

The founder joins the European DIGITAL SME Alliance

ELECTE’s founder and CEO, Fabio Lauria, has joined the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, the largest network of ICT small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe. This membership connects him to the European digital policy ecosystem and reflects the company’s focus on the regulatory and economic conditions under which European SMEs are adopting artificial intelligence.

First Exhibition in Asia: SushiTech Tokyo

In April, ELECTE exhibited at SushiTech Tokyo in the ICE Italian Pavilion, marking the company’s first appearance at an Asian technology event and a step toward expanding its presence beyond its already established European and international markets.

Platform Development

The platform continues to expand around the AI Agent released in April, which automatically generates financial and operational reports, keeps analyses up to date as data changes, and continuously monitors competitors. ELECTE now offers a catalog of over 50 native integrations covering accounting software, databases, payment providers, and marketing platforms, along with dedicated solutions for SMBs, enterprises, finance, retail, and construction, with published case studies in the healthcare, fintech, and technology sectors.

The ecosystem surrounding the platform includes a public REST API with developer documentation at api.electe.net, a suite of free tools at tools.electe.net, and a public status page. The company’s long-term goal remains unchanged: to enable businesses to access advanced analytics capabilities without the need for in-house data teams or external consultants.

European Data Governance and Sustainability

All customer data is hosted on servers in Europe, in full compliance with the GDPR and European data protection standards, and is CCPA-compliant for U.S. users. ELECTE is a member of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), where it participates in standardization efforts related to data privacy and machine learning on the web.

The company is part of Stripe Climate, allocating a portion of its revenue to carbon removal technologies, and has been independently evaluated for its sustainability performance.

Statements

"The April launch of the AI Agent focused on automating analytical work. What we’re announcing today is the business built around it," said Fabio Lauria, CEO of ELECTE. "Revenue growth of over 40% and a community of more than 100,000 readers: this is how a platform for SMEs earns trust, with revenue that demonstrates adoption and a distribution channel we own. Joining the European DIGITAL SME Alliance brings me closer to the decision-making tables where it is determined how European SMEs will adopt artificial intelligence."

Regulating what is not created: does Europe risk technological irrelevance?

Europe attracts only one-tenth of global investment in artificial intelligence but claims to dictate global rules. This is the "Brussels Effect"-imposing regulations on a planetary scale through market power without driving innovation. The AI Act goes into effect on a staggered timetable until 2027, but multinational tech companies respond with creative evasion strategies: invoking trade secrets to avoid revealing training data, producing technically compliant but incomprehensible summaries, using self-assessment to downgrade systems from "high risk" to "minimal risk," forum shopping by choosing member states with less stringent controls. The extraterritorial copyright paradox: EU demands that OpenAI comply with European laws even for training outside Europe-principle never before seen in international law. The "dual model" emerges: limited European versions vs. advanced global versions of the same AI products. Real risk: Europe becomes "digital fortress" isolated from global innovation, with European citizens accessing inferior technologies. The Court of Justice in the credit scoring case has already rejected the "trade secrets" defense, but interpretive uncertainty remains huge-what exactly does "sufficiently detailed summary" mean? No one knows. Final unresolved question: is the EU creating an ethical third way between U.S. capitalism and Chinese state control, or simply exporting bureaucracy to an industry where it does not compete? For now: world leader in AI regulation, marginal in its development. Vaste program.

Outliers: Where Data Science Meets Success Stories.

Data science has turned the paradigm on its head: outliers are no longer "errors to be eliminated" but valuable information to be understood. A single outlier can completely distort a linear regression model-change the slope from 2 to 10-but eliminating it could mean losing the most important signal in the dataset. Machine learning introduces sophisticated tools: Isolation Forest isolates outliers by building random decision trees, Local Outlier Factor analyzes local density, Autoencoders reconstruct normal data and report what they cannot reproduce. There are global outliers (temperature -10°C in tropics), contextual outliers (spending €1,000 in poor neighborhood), collective outliers (synchronized spikes traffic network indicating attack). Parallel with Gladwell: the "10,000 hour rule" is disputed-Paul McCartney dixit "many bands have done 10,000 hours in Hamburg without success, theory not infallible." Asian math success is not genetic but cultural: Chinese number system more intuitive, rice cultivation requires constant improvement vs Western agriculture territorial expansion. Real applications: UK banks recover 18% potential losses via real-time anomaly detection, manufacturing detects microscopic defects that human inspection would miss, healthcare valid clinical trials data with 85%+ sensitivity anomaly detection. Final lesson: as data science moves from eliminating outliers to understanding them, we must see unconventional careers not as anomalies to be corrected but as valuable trajectories to be studied.
