🚀 ELECTE the Cloudflare for Startups program: our enterprise infrastructure is expanding

We're excited to announce that Electe has been accepted into the prestigious Cloudflare for Startups program, a recognition that comes after we had already successfully implemented several Cloudflare technologies in our infrastructure, and one that will let us further expand our technological capabilities.

What is Cloudflare for Startups?

Cloudflare for Startups is an exclusive program reserved for the most promising startups, offering up to $250,000 in credits to access Cloudflare's full suite of services.

The program is not open to everyone: Cloudflare carefully selects startups based on their growth potential, product innovation, and the strength of their team. Acceptance into ELECTE program is therefore a significant recognition of ELECTE quality and potential ELECTE our industry.

The technologies we have already implemented

Our partnership with Cloudflare is not new. We have already successfully integrated several key services that have transformed the performance and security of our platform:

Global CDN and Load Optimization: Live

We have implemented Cloudflare’s content delivery network, which features over 300 data centers in more than 100 countries. Content from the ELECTE platform ELECTE now served from the server geographically closest to our users, drastically reducing load times worldwide.

Our optimizations include smart compression, automatic CSS/JavaScript minification, and image optimization. Every element of our platform loads as efficiently as possible, with tangible results: we've recorded a 45% reduction in load times compared to the previous setup.

Cloudflare Workers for Cookie Logging

We developed and implemented a proprietary solution using Cloudflare Workers for cookie management and logging. Our Workers process and track cookie interactions directly on edge servers, ensuring compliance with GDPR and CCPA while providing detailed analytics on user behaviors.

This edge-based implementation means that cookie management occurs with minimal latency, improving performance while we maintain granular control over user tracking and privacy data.

AI Crawl Control: Active Monitoring

One of the implementations we are most proud of is our advanced AI crawler control system. With the explosion of automated bots scanning the web to train AI models, we created a sophisticated system that:

• Identifies and blocks unauthorized AI crawlers, protecting our server resources
• Selectively manages access, allowing only legitimate crawlers to index our content
• Protects intellectual property by preventing misuse of our data for AI training

Enterprise DNS Management: Active

Our migration to Cloudflare DNS brought us immediate benefits:

• DNS resolution under 8ms on global average
• Zero downtime thanks to automatic failover and redundancy
• Smart geographic load balancing that distributes traffic optimally
• Full protection against DNS attacks and cache poisoning

R2 Storage and DDoS Protection: Implemented

Our R2 storage efficiently handles media content with no egress costs, while DDoS protection has already mitigated 3 significant attacks in recent months with no impact on our users.

We will continue to expand our Cloudflare infrastructure with a methodical, data-driven approach. Each new implementation will be driven by precise metrics and tested gradually to ensure continuous improvements in user experience.

In the coming weeks we will begin the rollout of Cloudflare Images and Stream, followed by advanced security implementations. We will regularly share the results and optimizations achieved.
